Wedding + Engagement Packages
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK?
Once you have set your wedding date and secured your venue it is best to book your photographer as far in advance as you possibly can. Majority of my wedding clients book me at least within 6 months to a year in advance for their wedding day.
HOW DO WE BOOK YOU?
To secure your wedding date with me:
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
HOW DO WE KNOW OUR IMAGES WILL BE SAFE DURING AND AFTER THE WEDDING?
Safety of your images is always my main priority which is one of the reasons I chose the Nikon D750. It has dual card slots allowing me to create an instant back up of your images onto the second memory card. After the wedding I back all of your images up onto 3 seperate WD hard drives, my computer as well as on icloud to ensure if anything fails I have multiple copies!
DO YOU NEED TO SEE MY VENUE BEFORE THE BIG DAY?
If I have already worked at your wedding venue then no. If I havent seen the venue before my second shooter and I will come to your venue an hour or so before we are scheduled to start photographing your preperations and take a good look around.
WHO IS THE SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER AND WHAT WILL THEY DO AT THE WEDDING?
I have a select few of second photographers which I choose from to work with me at my weddings. They are all qualified and work within the wedding industry too. On your wedding day I like to think of the second photographer being the grooms photographer for the day whilst I am the brides. Documenting your story from both perspectives. They will photograph the groom getting ready whilst I am with the bride, photograph canapes whilst I photograph your couple images and fill in where needed.
HOW DO WE KNOW THAT YOUR THE RIGHT PHOTOGRAPHER FOR US?
Choosing a photographer to capture your special day is a HARD task! My number one piece of advice is that you need to be able to mesh well with your photographer in order to feel absolutely comfortable infront of their camera.
WHAT IS YOUR APPROACH ON THE WEDDING DAY?
My approach is to document your big day in the most natural way possible. Other than the traditional family and group images I completely avoid any 'posed' images. During the couple photographs I will guide you and give you direction, but, it will be to do a natural action and not a posed one. For example I will ask you to practice your first dance, give eachother a kiss or hold hands and walk into the distance. So I will never leave you feeling lost or wondering what to do ;)
CAN I SEND YOU A PHOTO CHECKLIST FOR OUR WEDDING?
The only list I work from on the day is the family/group images list as to ensure no one is missed. I prefer not to work from any kind of shot by shot list on the wedding day "bouquet, dress, rings, bride walking down aisle" etc.. It completely takes away the essence that is your wedding day and whilst constantly checking the list... I am missing atleast 5 beautiful moments happening around me.
DO I NEED TO FEED YOU BOTH?
Yes please! We often start our day hours before your guests even begin to arrive and work up quite an apetite with being on our feet and on the move for more than 6-10hours, with little to no breaks in-between. Food keeps up our energy and sugar levels so we can stay up on our feet for those last few hours until the bouquet and garter have been thrown!
DO YOU REALLY NEED TO SIT IN THE RECEPTION?
We dont need anything fancy at all, as long as there is a comfy spot for us to sit, eat and put our heavy bags down. It can be outside of the reception area but nearby enough so that we dont miss any of the action.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY PHOTO'S?
Up to 8 weeks. It may be less, but never more!
CAN I HAVE THE RAW IMAGES?
Nope, sorry. Under no circumstance do I provide the RAW images to my clients. It is an unfinished product, the file size is massive and the image looks overall grey...If it is more images you are after, I will gladly provide you with a list to select extra images from for me to edit at an additional fee.
DO YOU EDIT ALL OF THE PICTURES?
Yes! I dont do any batch editing and edit each image individually giving it that special attention that it deserves.
